Module 6 - The NQF, information systems and the National Learners' Records Database (NLRD),

This module explains and explores the vision expressed through the NLRD and its place in the NQF. It explains the importance of channeling data to the NLRD via appropriate bodies and how learners and your organisation accrue the benefits of the NLRD.

Manage learner information using an information management system

Module 7 - The NQF and RPL

In keeping with the structure of the other NQF Support Link modules, Unit 1 of this new module provides general insight into what RPL is and into some of the issues involved. Unit 2 explores the detail of the legislation, policy, regulations, guidelines and good practices for sustainable implementation, making use of a range of case studies and thus providing a solid grounding in the policies and practices required for officially recognised RPL in South Africa. The first part of unit 3 familiarises learners with all the areas required by the RPL unit standard.

You can choose from three modes of delivery;

  • Face-to-face learning: Attend workshops where the courseware is provided in book format
  • Computer-based learning: Using a CD-ROM provided on registration
  • LMS includes a user-friendly interface, advanced from both technology and instructional e-learning design perspectives for online learning

Qualified tutors and facilitators are available to provide timely support.
